Before LVT Installation
Knowing what to expect before your LVT installation will make for a more streamlined and relaxing process.
Before your LVT installation:
- You will discuss goals and an installation plan with your crew. On the day of your installation, a walk-through will be completed, and you will be able to ask any questions that you might have.
- You should ensure that children and pets are not near where the installation will occur.
- Discuss subflooring and any preparation work that might need to be completed with your crew.
- The LVT may need to get acclimated to the temperature of the room.
During & After Your LVT Installation
On your LVT installation day, you can expect the following:
- Our crew will arrive on time and will complete a walk-through with you. They will discuss overall goals, a timetable for completion, and whatever else comes to mind.
- From there, the installation will begin. The process may vary depending on the size of the job and the installation method discussed.
- The installation options include a click-and-lock installation method or using adhesive.
- Your crew will begin by laying the tiles before continuing onto the concurrent rows. The crew will check for unfinished edges and consider seams and transitions.
- Once finished, you will assess the work with our team.
After your LVT installation:
- Run a fan to remove installation-related smells.
- Allow 24 hours for your flooring to settle.
