Before Tile Installation
Taking the time to learn more about our tile installation process, it will make for a more simplified installation day.
Before your tile installation:
- You will discuss goals and an installation plan with your crew. On the day of your installation, a walk-through will be completed, and you will be able to ask any questions that you might have.
- You should ensure that children and pets are not near where the installation will occur.
- Discuss subflooring and any preparation work that might need to be completed with your crew.
- Other tile flooring prep work will be completed by our crew.
During & After Your Tile Installation
On your tile installation day, you can expect the following:
- Our crew will arrive on time and will complete a walk-through with you. They will discuss overall goals, a timetable for completion, and whatever else comes to mind.
- From there, the installation will begin. The process may vary depending on the size of the job and the installation method discussed.
- The tile installation may vary depending on a number of factors. Typically this will start with your crew mixing the mortar before applying it to the floor. From there, the team will use spacers to place individual tiles, working their way from the inside out.
- Then grouting, sealing, and clean up will take place.
- Once finished, you will assess the work with our team.
After your LVT installation:
- Run a fan to remove installation-related smells.
- Allow 24 hours for your flooring to settle.
